Currently, I’m honing my digital product craft as an Art Director at AKQA — leading design for Delta Air Lines. Prior to AKQA, I spent some wonderful years as an Art Direction lead for the events team at the NFL, helping to create unique identities for massive events like the Super Bowl and Draft. Over the past 15 years I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the most inspiring creatives in NYC, Philadelphia and Denver — creating strategic campaigns and brand identities for clients big and small.
Sometimes, you’ve got to go make it yourself.
In 2016, I accidentally double exposed a roll of film and absolutely had to lay it out as a small photo book. A few quotes later and I figured, what the heck - how hard can it be to print this myself?
Fast forward nearly 10 years and that happy accident turned into a full blown obsession. After that first stumble into the self publishing world, I went on to found Sometimes Publishing, a studio practice rooted in editorial design and print making.
Today Sometimes Publishing is most well known for Sometimes Magazine — part fan zine, part DIY music journalism, part academic journal, part who-the-hell-knows.
